 My story begins with my grandmother, an African woman from Ghana, who taught me sewing skills and more!  With my grandmother's skill and support, I would carry on in her place.  For the longest time I knew deep in my very soul that I not only wanted to sew but to create African women dresses that encompassed the dresses owner’s personality and be totally African. 

Over the years African fashion has gained world wide recognition and acceptance. The influence can be seen in the fashion industry worldwide. We see fashion trends that today can be traced  back to our African roots. Take, for instance, the use of bold and bright colors in fashion. This colorful style is a direct reflection of our colorful African landscape. Various patterns and prints have also become popular worldwide. The African influence can also be seen in the use of beads and other jewelry which are now widely used in jewelry-making. My goal is to, with you the dress owner, create modern women's clothing that incorporates elements of African culture into your dress. 

African fashion is more than just an art, it represents our rich culture and heritage that has influenced fashion trends around the world. It is a reminder of the incredible beauty and diversity of our African culture.
